Aradhana Films is a renowned company with a rich history and an impressive portfolio. We are the sister company of Shakti Films, founded by the legendary filmmaker, Shakti Samanta, in 1957. Shakti Samanta was a director and producer responsible for a string of super-hit movies including Aradhana, Kati Patang and Amar Prem, to name just a few.

In 1986, Shakti Samanta and Ashim Samanta, with their forward-thinking vision, established a dubbing and mixing facility, armed with cutting-edge technology. Our services have evolved to include an extensive list of media-related services such as voice casting, translation, song recording and sound effects, and mixing. We are also responsible for localizing Hollywood films, having started with the iconic Jurassic Park, which was a huge success.

For over 3 decades, we have localized almost 60% of Hollywood’s dubbed releases in India, which is a testament of our expertise and popularity in the industry. Today, we are led by Ashim Samanta, who has directed an impressive number of Hindi feature films (9) and TV serial episodes (320).
